Now this is what I call " A Morning Pottery & Brickmaking Adventure"

If you're short on time, this two-hour motorbike tour will come in handy!

We'll hit the road with our friendly, English-speaking local guide to the famous pottery village which is often called the "Kingdom of Red Terracotta".

We'll visit two distinctive factories along the way:

* Pottery-making factory: where graceful statues, decorative vases, and garden pots are lovingly shaped by hand.

* Brick-making factory: producing sturdy, sun-baked bricks for the domestic market.

With over 1,000 mushroom-shaped kilns, some towering up to 12 meters high, the village appears from afar like an ancient city of crimson castles glowing under the morning sun — a truly magical sight.

Now you'll learn the fascinating insights into the craft's origins. For instance, the secret behind the iconic red hue comes from the sand that's dredged from the Mekong River, mixed with clay, molded, and baked in those massive kilns. This local sand gives Vinh Long pottery its distinct warm tone, unlike the cooler shades found in northern Vietnam.

Behind the scenes, artisans are busy at work with a mesmerizing flow: shaping bowls, vases, or plant pots in mere minutes. In pairs, they create up to 150–200 items a day, each one carefully smoothed and refined to perfection. The process is a beautiful dance of skill, tradition, and artistry that has been passed down for generations.

By the end of the tour, you'll not only have witnessed the magic of Vinh Long's terracotta but also gained a deeper appreciation for the connection between the river, the land, and the people who transform it into timeless works of art.
